together in a field

A Haiku Series

A field of tulips
Is where I find most pleasure
When you are with me

The bees fly near us
You cover my face from pain
Instead you stung me

I can smell the grass
That lays beneath our bodies
It hugs me like you

Your essence is strong
But your eyes are stronger than
The trunk of that tree

The sky makes pictures
They come to life and move with
Our limbs as we dance

Then the pictures die
And they turn dark and grey, we
Run for protection

I smell tears of Earth
We conjoin under this tree
Rain rattles the leaves

Together we share
A tender moment as one
In this great wet field

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
