Time for a little affirmation
I have a →daily video show. Just me, usually in my kitchen talking to you about mindfulness, life, kids, and stuff that connects us and lets us know we are not alone.
Honestly, these videos are the highlight of my day. Grownup interaction, sharing and caring — what’s not to love. I encourage you to check it out.
Today’s video I talk about how I noticed a few trends in my videos and it seems that offering affirmations is a topic I keep talking about. The idea is that you love yourself. You offer gratitude to you. You see the light of the Divine inside of you and the way that only you bless the world. Then celebrate that.

I am . . .
Feel free to add an ending! For example, I am happy because I can see the good on a seemingly yucky day.
Or, I am focusing on how great my hair looks! True. I love my new hair cut and I often look in the mirror and think, “why didn’t I get it cut before? I love how it looks, I love the simplicity, I love the consistency. It makes my life easier.”
An affirmation is any positive thing you say to yourself. That’s my definition.
